If you are getting ready for second wing in ICC be sure you read the tactics. Christine did a fine job putting together some infos : Plagueworks Strats
I know there are a lot of informations going on now, but I find it easy to read it on blogs because the restrictions I have at work for certain type of sites.
At Falling Leaves and Wings you can read about what debuffs to add to your grid: Getting GRID Ready for Icecrown’s Plagueworks
Now… If you already did this, I think would be helpful to have a designated frame with raid debuffs for your self, separated from the other debuffs. Like this you will be able to know exactly what debuff is on you and of course, if you know what it means, to move according.
For this you will need Satrina Buff Frame .
This mod deserve a detailed post but since I am short on time now, let’s create fast a new debuff frame:
/sbf options
Now you can see the option window on your screen. Go to “New Frame” and press it. A new frame will be up on your screen:
Now you can rename it. Mine is Raid Debuffs. Be sure you have checked Show Debuffs and Whitelist. Also must be attached tou player frame, that means you.
This is how my frame looks like and is positioned left of my character.
In Layout , Icons, Timers, Counts… even Bars you can sort how the frame will look, but most important are filters here, so… go to Filters tab.
Now… On the Add Filter space type:
n=Debuff Name
or
n~Debuff Name (if you dont know the entire name if debuff)
Press Add Filter
Debuff Name can be any debuff you want to know about, but for now, add the ones you can find at Falling Leaves and Wings.
If you are lazy… here is a fast list:
Rotface
- n=Ooze Flood
- n=Sticky Ooze
- n=Mutated Infection
Festergut
- n=Vile Gas
- or n~Vile
- n=Gastric Bloat
- n=Inoculated
- n=Gas Spore
- n=Blighted Spores
Putricide
- n=Slime Puddle
- n=Malleable Goo
- n=Choking Gas Bomb
- n=Gaseous Bloat
- n=Volatile Ooze Adhesive
- n=Mutated Plague
- n=Mutated Transformation
NOTE:
- As you already know the debuffs’s name is not 100% accurate. Will have to see later on, after first raids there.
- In this weekend Bati’s UI will get updated and will have the new debuffs added also.
Happy healing and good luck tonight!
